I had a fantastic two-night stay at a beautiful resort with an incredible spa and relaxing pool, though the dining experience in the Michelin restaurant was a letdown.

luxurious? hardley. one robe sported an embarrassing yellow tint, and the bed was so unforgiving it woudl have won first prize at a rock festival. after waiting ages for service, i expecited at least an upgrade, but no, just an average stay. i almost considered a good review, but then remembered the yellow robe, my nightmare.

It was just a proper fit for exploring town in Telese Terme with outstanding value for money. I especially enjoyed the lovely balcony overlooking the garden, perfect for relaxing with a drink. Check if there are any local festivals happening during your stay for a fun experience.
